Made using a combination of Mylar heat-resistant film and hollow polyester fibers, this insulating wadding by Sew Simple is ideal for any project that requires thermal properties, such as pot holders, oven gloves, tea cosies and ironing board covers.
Sew Simple insulating wadding can be machine or hand quilted up to 7" apart, and can be hand washed - to wash use cool water and mild detergent, leave for 15 minutes then squeeze out excess moisture by rolling in a dry towel, then dry naturally by laying flat. Shrinkage is less than 5%.
Priced per metre unit, orders of more than half a metre will be sent uncut as a single piece. The wadding is approximately 22.5 inches (57cm) in width.

I ordered this to complete a Christmas table runner and was so pleased with it, I used it for Sunday lunch. The heat resistant wading is not at all bulky so very easy to sew and really kept the heat off my beautiful wooden dining room table. Had enough left to make placemats and coasters. Will definitely be buying again! Thank you.
