Mettler Silk finish Cotton 40 quilting thread is a 100% cotton, long staple double mercerised Egyptian cotton thread. Silk Finish quilting thread is strong and break resistant, and gives off very little fluff in the sewing machine. It is also colour safe and shrink resistant, as well as fade resistant and safe to iron. Mettler quilting thread is a slightly heavier weight thread, ideal for decorative quilting and stitching effects, and can be used for hand or machine quilting. Reference number 2000 is plain white in colour, and this 457m (500yd) reel is great for larger projects.
