Mettler Transfil invisible thread is recommended for all works where invisible seams are desired or decorative appliqués need to be applied. This 100% polyamide monofilament thread can be used as a bobbin thread and as a needle thread. The 1000m length was created especially for the quilting customer so that the thread will last long enough for elaborate quilt designs.
Please note: Due to its raw material, TRANSFIL has limited UV resistance and is therefore not suitable for applications with high UV exposure. The thread tension must be adjusted from machine to machine; thus, an optimal loop is guaranteed. When processing, ensure that the bobbin case is made of metal, as a bobbin case from plastic may break. The stiff nature of this thread may cause skin irritation if it comes into direct contact with the skin.
