It was only by watching something on u-tube that I realised that there was something to make cutting so much easier. having looked on-line I found these handles and the difference makes it so much easier to move ruler - such a help when you have arthritis in hands and fingers. I'm surprised that they have not been advertised more as I watch craft channels regularly and I had never seen anything like these before. When I opened them I did wonder if they would attach easily as these suction pads can be such a nuisance on bathroom items - but wo! I placed it on the ruler and pressed down and it was firmly attached so I'm glad I ordered 2. So I would definately recommend these. Also they arrived well packaged and quickly. Keeps your fingers out of the way of the cutter but for me personally feels a little small

I have arthritis in my fingers, hands and wrists which makes it painful to spread my fingers over a ruler and press down on it when cutting fabric. This ruler handle is ideal as with the handle in place I can hold my ruler steady on the fabric without spreading my fingers along the ruler and pressing down. This means less pain when cutting fabric. The handle sticks fast to the ruler without the need to dampen the suction cups and they lift off fairly easily by raising the edge of the cups a little to release them.

This is a very useful tool at a good price. I can now stop my ruler from slipping when cutting fabrics.

Sometimes simple things make life easier and this is a good example. Just press down and the suction cups grip the ruler so it can be lifted up easily. Less risk of moving material which sometimes happens when you are trying to position the ruler correctly.

I was recommended to get one of these to assist measuring but found that the handle whilst great with the ruler got in the way of cutting with the rotary cutter still very useful.
